Pivotal Mandate: Two distinct divine experiences shaped Apostle Sonny Onwuka's calling. The first occurred on October 22, 1985, at approximately 3:00 p.m., when an angel delivered a clear mandate: 'I have given you the Word; go and speak it.' The second came on the afternoon of September 14, 1986, when an angel endued him with a powerful healing grace to minister to the sick and bring deliverance to the oppressed
Apostle Sonny Onwuka is an Industrial chemist by academic training when in two pivotal visions was called into the gospel ministry. Firstly on about 3 p.m on Oct., 22, 1985, God's angel said to him "I have given you the word; go and speak it". Secondly, in the afternoon of about 14 Sept., 1986, God's angel anointed him with the tangible healing anointing to pray for the sick and deliver the demonic oppressed. Now for over 40 years, Apostle Sonny Onwuka on various thrust and platforms has endeavoured to carry out and fulfill his preaching, teaching, healing, prophetic, and missions work in Nigeria and South Africa mainly. He will as the spirit of God leads be available for healing meetings, preaching, teaching, conferences and seminars on the invitation and in collaboration with churches, ministries, organisations and ministers. Sonny is married to Evangelist Audrey Adaure Onwuka who is actively involved in every facet of this work. They are blessed with children.
